Timer hard to see.
Katarzyna Tichnowetzki
The timer/time tracking feature is set up in a way that makes it really easy to forget it's even running. You do have a Chrome integration, but that’s not ideal either, since you have to manually search for the tasks. The best version would be a timer that can be started directly from the task (as it is now), but one that is clearly visible—something that stays on top of all programs and is always in view.

I do not need attached the tracjing time to tsome tasks. I need only start and stop tracking, and I aprechiate if I can see in my mobil home screen if the time is currently tracked.

Timer PLEASE!

People who have a hard time staying focused and need to make sure each task has a set time frame, we need TIMER settings with an alarm pretty please. I love ClickUp but time tracked doesn’t help for this use case. Especially users with ADHD, we need that sense of urgency to help keep us on task.
It would be AMAZING to also be able to see this timer running down on the apple watch like this app I use called Tiimo or STRUCTURED for task organization.

It would be helpful to have the timer little bigger than what it currently is as it is easy to miss it. Also any chances where it actually alerts you when the timer has ran out of time.

Remind me to start or stop timer for time periods

A reminder that lets you know when the timer has been running over a certain period of time. Additionally, it should be able to be set for each person individually

For all the projects that took 20 minutes but were recorded as 2 days and 20 hours because I'm a forgetful individual, I would love this feature.

Hello Katarzyna Tichnowetzki - thank you for your feedback.
I understand the the indicator at the top right corner of your ClickUp tab/app is not sufficient for this need, correct? You are looking for something that can indicate the timer is running outside of the browser boundaries if I captured that correctly.

Bugra Oktay Hallo :)
Yes, the timer is indeed a bit too small – it’s easy to forget it’s even running.
Suggestions for improvement:
Larger display within ClickUp:
It would already help if the timer were displayed significantly larger. Ideally, you could also see which task is currently being tracked – at least when hovering over it with the mouse (tooltip).
Display outside the browser:
An optional timer that’s visible outside of ClickUp – for example, when working in other programs like InDesign – would be very helpful. It would be important to have a toggle option:
Show only within ClickUp
Show across all programs
Discreet display for specific situations:
There are moments when the timer shouldn't be visible, such as during a client call when sharing your screen. That should be taken into account as well.
Pause function:
There’s no easy way to briefly pause the timer without stopping it completely. Especially when quickly grabbing a coffee or being interrupted, this would be very useful.
Conclusion:
A clearly visible, optional, and configurable timer with a pause function – that would be a real improvement for daily work.

Mobile App Time Tracking Widget
Nathan Siemon
The ability to add a time tracker as a widget to a mobile home screen would be incredibly beneficial. This would help employees moving from site to site track their time to respective jobs without having to open the app.

We almost always forget to stop the timer, alert sounds are sorely missed. The timer is very discreet while it is counting. An option to highlight it would be very welcome. A deep focus screen, ticking, showing only the counter and task name would be a perfect addition to this feature.

This would be great! Sometime when I get pulled away, I forget to stop timer, would be great if it could text you as well. Like, "Are you still there" with configurable times. Also, if you start working on something and forget to start the timer it would prompt you to start timer and you could answer yes, no - not on this task, or please ask me again on next activity

I vote for the timer for a different reason - I want to make short breaks after regular time intervals to make sure I do eye gymnastics, change posture and make a longer break after several shorter break cycles. It would help me remain focused, avoid health issues and manage distraction.
