Time tracking inside calendar.

Clickup's native time tracking would be amazing if it integrated with the calendar functionality. Being able to plan your day within the calendar and then log a task and the hours you had associated to it as complete with a single click. Boom, Clickup would then have super powers!
Streamtime does this incredibly well with a simple to do/done dragable dashboard for the weekly calendar. But I think the Calendar functionality as it is could easily implement this with a button associated to the . Clickup, you can do it!

Loving the new calendar feature, if i could track time when directly clicking on the event in Clickup Calendar that would make things so much more efficient as I use my google calendar to schedule what I'm working on for the week/months ahead. Currently you have to search on the side bar for the project and the click track time.

Hi All,
You can get calendar time tracking and smart scheduling by using Reclaim.ai with the ClickUp integration.
Reclaim is a smart scheduler and time tracker. It automatically schedules your tasks based on priority, estimated time, due date, and your availability. Tasks appear as blocks in your calendar, which you can move and resize—this time is then logged as time spent on the task.
When integrated with ClickUp and Google Calendar, you’ll see these task blocks in the ClickUp planner and can adjust them there. Tracked time syncs back to 'Time Logged' in the ClickUp task.
Setup steps:
- Subscribe to Reclaim.ai (starter package or higher, $8/month).
- In Reclaim, enable the ClickUp integration and follow the setup instructions.
- In ClickUp, enable 'Estimated Time', 'Time Tracked', and 'Tags'.
- Optional: Add an automation to tag tasks as 'reclaim' when they move to Active—this sends them to Reclaim.
- In Reclaim, integrate with Google Calendar.
- In ClickUp, integrate with Google Calendar.
Now you’ll see your tasks in the ClickUp planner!
This gives me an intuitive way to organize my day and track hours—important for running a service business. It would be ideal to have this all within ClickUp, but for now, this works great. Hope it helps!
