I'll second this. For us it rarely makes any sense to track two stories at the same time, it's always a mistake. A simple "Are you sure - you're currently tracking time on ..." would be great.

Makes sense, in general there should be a warning if the timer runs longer than X (work day) of a second timer is started in parallel.
