Time Format in Exports
z-Manuel Niederkofler (Test)
In the CSV export of the Time Tracked reporting view, the time fields are exported in text format ("3h 50m"). To make calculations in Excel it would be an improvement if the field would be a numerical value (e.g. 90) with the number format being minutes or hours alternatively.
Maybe as an additional field to not break the current fields.

Definitely need this feature - the time format coming out in CSV in milliseconds is of no use - we shouldn't have to convert/add formulas to the excel afterwards when time is tracked in hours/minutes in ClickUp

THIS! I am currently sifting through lines and lines of data (having exported, converted, and deleted tons of unneeded information) and had to manually convert the time format in order to develop a summary for a client. I'm trying to make ClickUp work for my business, but the reporting/dashboard functionality is sorely lagging behind other systems on the market.

This is really a basic functional need. If you are going to charge for a business subscription then you need to offer business level features. The only reason i moved up to this paid level was in the hopes of cancelling Harvest for my client time tracking - which is incredibly easy to use, instant viewing client hours to date against estimate (with a graphic time indicator of how much is left) and the ability to export customized sheets for billing.
1) Your excel sheets have far too many columns that must be manipulated manually after EVERY export to get down to the 5 columns i actually need (which are scattered all over the place to begin with)
2) from there i have to then convert milliseconds into a time format so i can total the time spent and use that to bill a client. i cant use your "2 h 30 m" text as that converts to meaningless text
3) this is a HUGE time suck and time that I cannot bill a client for!

Ability to set time format in exports

In timesheet exports, time exports in milliseconds or 4 h (example of 4 hours) and has to be converted to see it in any other format, for example, seeing hours instead of milliseconds which is more realistic for reporting. Would love to see an option to set how you wish to see time exported besides the milliseconds and hh:mm:ss format which does not convert well in reporting.

And what about the date texte format that is fully illogical: Either you go from days to year or from year to day, but month is always in the middle. Stop using that crazy US format : why on earth would you put month first???? What could justify such mixed up? ( "10/20/2023, 4:00:00 AM GMT+2 ")

Also upvoting this as I need to quickly and easily export time reports I can attach to invoices (poof of work) sent to customers as well as make small adjustments if necessary.
Also, the date format is not much friendlier in text "1707393600844" or "02/08/2024, 1:00:00 PM CET". I needed to ask my AI Assistant to come up with a formula to convert to a standard date format:
=DATE(VALUE(MID(H2;7;4)); VALUE(LEFT(H2;2)); VALUE(MID(H2;4;2)))
That feels like overkill for this simple task :)
Each of our PMs will need to do this on a monthly basis for every customer, which makes it very cumbersome.

Is there an update yet with this feature request?

Include Time Estimates and Time Logged in Minutes on the Export of Tasks to Excel
Steve Allen
Currently the Time Estimates and Times Logged are being exported in a string format of hours and minutes (i.e. 1h 30m).
It would be useful to have additional columns, on the export, with these times in the number of minutes. (i.e. 90)

If we have the options to export Time Sheet Cards / Reports with a specific time format (whether that be minutes, hours, or 00:00:00 etc. ) that would reduce so much manual labor on excel for data analysis after the fact!
