Time Estimates in Calendar/Agenda

It would be nice if Time estimates were used to block times in your calendar integrations.
That way I could set a time estimate and give it a start date to block a specific time on my calendar.

Seems like this would be easy to implement and users have several posts requesting this vital time planning on calendar function

I agree! Clickup's feature on the Home tab with the calendar where you can drag and drop tasks and schedule them with such ease is what made our agency go for Clickup. But the ability to auto-generate the time estimation based on the time set to the schedule of a task is a game changer. It would make workload management a lot easier. And this could go two-ways as well. If a task has been specified a time estimate, when dragging and dropping into the calendar, it should place a square that reflects the amount of hours estimated.

Hey I was looking for this too!
I recommend you guys to look at a tool called Reclaim that makes it possible to add tasks from Clickup to your whatever calendar you might use based on the time estimates you give a task in Clickup. Plus manage multiple workspaces, calendars (from multiple apps) and automatically schedule meetings like Calendly in one place.
Honestly, it's a great fix with super integrations. Good luck!

Adam Haney: I think that's handled well with the time tracker or a report of completed tasks, yes?

jay armstrong: I mean something where you can start from a single calendar screen and select what tasks you worked on. right now you have to go to every individual task and record your time against each one.

This would be awesome to have, and to see logged time as well in the calendar view!

Merged in a post:
Toggle Time Estimates in Agenda
Enoma Osakue
The agenda view shows "all day" for tasks that do not have a specified time they're due and the time tasks are due.
It would be helpful if I can toggle or switch this to the time estimates for each task. That way, I can view my agenda for the day and know what tasks take more effort.

Time Estimates are and SHOULD be put on the calendar. IF it is taking this long for Engineers to understand what a TIME SAVER that is then you should ALL come and do my job and SEE that by putting a TIME SAVER in a CALENDAR as a TASK means that WE are using OUR TIME Effectively and not sitting here typing requests to see if a TICKET gets up the FOOD CHAIN so a to stroke my ego to completion. This is NOT Heaven's Gate. Estimates on Calendar as a BLOCK of TIME should have been there from the onset on ANY PRO GTD PLATFORM. There you go, challenge that and please get the CLICKUP CHROME EXTENSION FIXED TODAY! We are not in a cupcake store. This request is now 15 months OLD!!!

This would complete the new calendar updates (like with recurring tasks)
Right now, the calendar tasks are marked as an event with the exact same start and finish time. Rather than putting a start date and time and end date and time, I prefer to use estimates and have that automatically blocked out in my calendar
