'Tentative' task/sub-task deadlines for personal use.
Muazam Rafique
When I plan my work for the day, I find that it is useful for me to drag and drop tasks/sub-tasks into the calendar thus creating a schedule for myself.
Often, the task card is being watched my others too, since we need to communicate with each other about the task.
ClickUp is set up so that I will get a notification telling me that a task is about to be 'due', or is 'over due'. However, the watchers (I assume) will also be notified about this.
The problem is that these daily deadlines are only meant to be indicative, for my own benefit. I do not want others to be notified about these. I don't mind them seeing my proposed work schedule.
Is it possible to switch off these sort of reminders, on a task by task basis even? Maybe a button that indicates that these dates are indicate only (so only I, or no one, gets notified?).

Hey there Muazam Rafique! In the notification settings, you can set whether you'd like to get due date notifications for only your tasks (assigned to you) or for all tasks (tasks you're watching). Does this solve what you're looking for?

Hey Tarun Masani:
What I'm asking for is a little different. I'm asking if I can switch off the reminders for other people who are watching my task. Why? because for some tasks, I merely want to slot them in a calendar using tentative times - I don't want other people to be unnecessarily bombarded with task 'due date' reminders.
Getting team mates on board can be difficult, and so I don't want to give them a reason to complain!
