I figured out when making a folder structure as a template, it looses DOC relationship. The Doc was in that folder, but relationship was break, even originally related DOC was created with the template.

Relationship in Templates & Automations

Add the ability to include relationships within a task template.
For example, if we have a document outlining the SOP on how to perform a particular task, we can add it to the task template so it is always included as a linked document when a new task is created.
Furthermore, adding the ability to automate relationships between tasks and documents. When THIS (status changes, custom field changes, assignee changes, etc), THEN add this document/task in the relationships section.

We will be picking this up after https://clickup.canny.io/feature-requests/p/default-task-template is shipped!

This is Business Critical to us. We so need this ASAP as we are trying to move a folder that is using many relationships into a new workspace that would be next to impossible to manually duplicate after the move. We have 100+ links

lots of great uses here for this feature. I'm looking to create a new project (task) template and have a relationship to a separate task list so that new tasks can be linked back to the Project that way tasks and projects are managed in different folders and separate lists within a space.

I also need this.. e.g. for every product we create a list with user stories and a backlog list. I create user stories and the developers create tasks that have a relationship to the user story.
We want to be able to save this as a template so that I can also use on other places and/or workspaces.
The same kind of relationships are also in our CRM space and other places, with the same problem..
I guess the logic should just be that if you create a template from a space or folder, you save all the relationships that are within that space or folder.

Hi,
We have a need that could fall into this request, but let me know if you'd prefer I create a separate request.
When creating a task model based on a task that is linked to a document, we would like that link to be saved within the model so that all future tasks created based on that model are also linked to said document. Currently the relationship is not saved within the model.

I have a folder with 2 lists which are related with a custom relationship field.
When I create a template of it on folder level and try to use it in a different space, everything is there, except the fields with the custom relationship. They have disappeared.
I have been told that this is a known issue. And I'm really looking forward to seeing the ability to use custom relationship fields in templates implemented as soon as possible.

Keeping the relationship on a template when a new task/doc/e.t.c would be very very helpful. Please implement his as soon as possible. Thank you

Workaround: just paste the private link to the doc or page in question. You can put it in the description of a comment and it makes a nice link like this.
Kind of defeats the purpose of having doc relationships though.
