Request:

Please allow setting Time Estimates for Team assignees so Workload/Team views can distribute the estimate across the Team instead of counting the full estimate for each member.

Expected behavior options (configurable):

Split evenly across Team members (default), or

Admin-configurable rules per Team, for example:

% allocation per member (weights)

fixed owner + contributors split

“only count for members explicitly selected”

exclude part-time/on-leave members

Use case:

We often assign work to a Team first (triage and shared ownership). We still need accurate capacity planning. Today, the same task can appear as full load on every Team member, which inflates workload and makes planning unreliable.

Impact:

More accurate resource planning without forcing us to prematurely assign specific individuals or create many subtasks just to represent the same estimated effort.
