I use the workload view HEAVILY and we use tags to help us understand certain aspects of a task. Having the ability to show tags in the workload view would be greatly beneficial.
I think the workload view options for what to show should line up with the calendar view.

  • Custom Fields
  • Holidays
  • Priority
Everything you can add in the calendar view should be able to be added in the workload view too.
