Hey, everyone!
The Product team has been talking this one over, and it is not a request that we are going to complete, at least for the time being.
We want to avoid tag overload and allow separation at the Space for different use cases.
Feel free to let us know if you think differently, your feedback will be heard!

🤔 Brendan W. Would a https://clickup.canny.io/feature-requests/p/tag-manager not help take care of the "tag overload" issue? It doesn't really make sense if you think about it since that's how Custom Fields work. Which still doesn't have a manager... ;)

Brendan W: I track hundreds of projects, and not being able to filter them with tags is a serious impact to organisation. ClickUp's focus is clearly at the task/sub-task level, but my team (and many others) work at the project/task level.
Surely how tags are used is down to the individual org, rather than ClickUp? Some teams will want to tag tasks, others projects - it's a shame the flexibility for either isn't part of ClickUp.

Brendan W: This is a bad call. The all essence of tagging through click up is to better organize the projects. this tool is a MUST as well as the UNDO button, which, for some reason, still wasn't implanted in PM screen. Both are a must in project management.

Please add this feature!

AGREED!!! I keep all my projects in one space, and some tags don't apply to all my lists. (Maybe I should look into spaces...)

still not even "under review", eh..?

Support multi-level tags. And child-parent tags linkage (for example: parent tags will be automatically added after adding child tags)@zeb-1

It is recommended to set the label classification, which will be much clearer

Because tags are shared between spaces, my tags are now messy and numerous.
