Tabs in Desktop app
Lydia Hesterman
I'd like the option to have "Tabs" in my app just like I would in a browser. I might want to compare and contrast projects or keep omy personal view open while viewing a team project. (But I don't necessary want to save it as a favorite for just a quick review)

Desktop App - Back Button or Tabs
Corey Huddleston
The desktop app does not have tabs, so when an in-app link is clicked, we lose our place in ClickUp. If we have much going on, and we fail to minimize the task, it is not possible to go back. Therefore, a back button would be very helpful, kind of like a browser's back button. If you don't do this, then opening links in new tabs would work. The back button is better than tabs, since tabs make it more like a browser than an App.

Please make it possible to have tabs within the desktop browser (similar to a web browser). Wrike has that and it is essential for multitasking and efficiency. Having to completely click out of a task to go reference something else in ClickUp is a major inconvenience and time suck. My productivity has declined significantly since switching to ClickUp.

I want to bump this request - I've just started using AI more and brain always asks for things like task ID's.
It's becoming difficult to manage as I have to have loads of floating windows open and because I always use apps in fullscreen on macOS it's becoming a nightmare to use.
The simple inclusion of tabs in the app would solve this and make things much more productive! Should be a no-brainer for a productivity app!

Yes, this would be great and significantly improve speed of navigating
While today in the Desktop app you have the ability to right click and open in a new window, you have to click just right to get the option to do so
For me I would use a tab to keep a certain project or doc open while I navigate elsewhere.
Wrike & Smarsheet both have this feature

This would make the desktop app so much more usable! I avoid using the desktop app now because I can't do multiple tabs and always end up using the webapp in the browser bc I'm often using multiple tabs.
Please implement!

It's 6 years since this request was created - it would be great to implement this! Working in only one tab is a pain and I always fall back on the web version, even though I would love to work in the app (it seems faster, too)

Ditto here!
Attempting to change from Notion, and missing tabs is one of the biggest pain points. The ability to have favorites pinned on top and bottom of screen is the closest you can get, but still takes you away from previous location instead of having them open concurrently.

This is a must to quickly flow from one object to another. Right now I am having to open another clickup window and this is not an ideal solution.
