Table view - Copy / Paste field values (also in batches)

Table view would be much more valueable, if you could copy/paste in all fields. Today it only works in the task name. Also copy/pasting multiple fields at a time, would be great, ie. you copy the status from one task and then select multiple other tasks and paste the status into all the tasks at once. In my mind the table view should work more or less like an excel sheet in order to add value and speed to the process of editing tasks.

I see this as an extension of importing.
Right now we can nicely and efficiently import a table from many sources. but the issue is once such a table is imported, well it is now impossible to update a lot of information at once within the table, say my data originates from outside of clickup in some program that exports tables, well I would like to select just parcels of that information to update sometimes. At the moment we have to update cell by cell which literally removes viability for managing large pools of data that needs quick updating.

This would be incredibly usefull we absolutely need this for managing large batches of data within clickup!

Hello! Can anyone tell if this feature is already available?
Daniel Schlichter
Alexandra Silva it doesn't currently work, so you have to update each cell or custom field as they call it, one by one. Quite a pain when you want to manage a lot of info quickly, especially if it comes from an external source

Daniel Schlichter thank you.

It would be most helpful to us if we could copy paste in the table view, the same way as in Excel. If we copy paste multiple fields at once, it would paste these fields into the columns in the table view. It's a very manual process for us to manually copy the excel data into the fields in our table view at the moment.

in table view of rows which contain relations to another list item, I want to copy the relation value quickly to another row.. either as part of a selected cells or at least one cell value to another cell location (in the same column = field type)

The friction of moving from Smartsheet to ClickUp is too great because this super basic function is missing

I hope soon they'll give us the option to copy and paste entire columns.

THe only option to copy a cell comes only when we copy the complete table. I would want to copy from a cell and add it in another cell
