Use case
We maintain a PTO calendar in Outlook that displays employee time off dates for the whole organization. When that Outlook calendar is synced with ClickUp, we'd want those PTO events to:
  • Sync into each affected user’s Personal Time Off in ClickUp
  • Display the time off dates on that user’s Profile
  • Reflect availability more accurately across ClickUp
Desired outcome
If an employee has PTO logged in the Outlook PTO calendar, ClickUp should identify that event as time off for the relevant person and surface it the same way native Personal Time Off entries do.
Why this matters
This would help teams avoid duplicate manual entry, improve visibility into availability, and make resource planning more reliable when Outlook is the source of truth for time off.
