Being able to sync GitHub issues with ClickUp similar to how Asana or Wrike do it through Unito would be a great feature!
This will be useful for me too +1
That will be really useful. +1
Pleeease also considering this if you're opening this up! 🙏 https://clickup.canny.io/bugs/p/attaching-github-branches-doesnt-seem-to-work
Hey @Martin Kjellberg! This definitely shouldn't be happening.I just let our QA team know and they are looking into it. If you have any other questions just shoot us an email at email@example.com!
@Nick: Thanks Nick! 🙏
An integration with Github where we can set a repository in Github and send a task to create an issue to that repository in Github would be HUGE. If labels and Status can maintain sync that would be great too
Thanks for the feedback everyone! We are working on some updates to our git integrations and will take this into consideration!
It would be nice to automatically sync (add) github issue to the repo while it is created in specific space/list.
Zapier only allows for new issues to become tasks.
We can't move to Clickup until import from Github issues is a thing.
Keeping them in sync would be cool but importing is more important and would allow us to simply move over to Clickup and have Github only as user issue report centre. Really key feature.
Would like this too but would expect it to be natively supported in ClickUp rather than paying separately for a 3rd party integration. Gitkraken already does this with Glo Boards so it really does need to be a native feature here too, otherwise a key feature like this currently gives Glo Boards the edge.
We'd really love this, too!
Hey Marc! This is a great suggestion for ClickUp to support natively.
In the meantime, this is something Zapier can do for you for new Github issues, but I am not sure it can create tasks from existing Github issues.
I hope this helps! If there's anything else I can assist you with, please let me know and have a great day!

@Jorgen: Thank you for your answer! I saw that Zapier supports importing GitHub issues as tasks, however the other way around is missing: Tasks can not become issues.
Also the import only covers the issue body. E.g. discussions in the issue or assignees are not covered.
To fully replace GitHub as a project management tool these features are critical however. Maybe a collaboration with Unito is an option, which is what Wrike and Asana are doing.
@Marc Tonsen: Got it! Thank you for clarifying here! :)
