Support 'Team' View Grouping Option By A Custom Field

In Team view, I can only group tasks by assignee and not by a specific custom field. The grouping options in Team view are limited.
for my team, the team-member is set on the ticket at a custom field value not as an assignee

Yes, I use a folder for staffing and have assigned writers out using a custom field rather than assignee as it is a private, management document to visualize resource allocation. I'd like to be able to use a team/workload view to get a card for each person using the custom "person" field instead of the stock assignee field
