Subtask count in a column, with coloured icons for count of Subtasks in each status
not on the roadmap

In 2.0, there was a really useful feature in List view where you could see the number of Subtasks a Task had, with a number count in the subtasks' status' colour as an icon.
I understand the removal of this might have been to make List view look cleaner, but the little grey number count next to the Task name is much less useful for productivity, as it not only gets lost as it doesn't pull your eye, but it also doesn't instantly tell you anything about what Subtasks are in what status.
I wonder, then, if we could get the subtask count as a column in List view, with coloured icons matching the statuses.
So basically what was removed from List view 2.0, made in to a column.
Mockup attached.

Another idea for this would be you could then hover over the icons in the subtask column, and it have a pop-up showing you what those subtasks are under the status icon you hover over.
E.g., you hover over an orange "Waiting" status. It would pop-up a box showing you all the Subtasks that have that status.
You could then click them to go to those subtasks.
And another point - If you were to expand the parent task, if any of the Subtasks have nested Subtasks, those nested Subtasks would also show in the Subtasks column.

For anyone seeing this that would like the old v2 icons next to the Task Name back, there is a feature request here - https://feedback.clickup.com/feature-requests/p/bring-back-subtask-count-with-colour-status-icons-list-view-home-dashboards-etc

Just noting that Notion has the ability to list all Tasks in a Project in a column, so I imagine it can also put Subtasks of a Task in a column (not tried it myself).
This would be really useful in ClickUp, too.
It would be great if, in addition to what I originally put, we could have the option to expand out Subtasks in the Subtask column, so we can see all of them, along with their statuses.
I.e., there would be this collapsed Subtask mode, then an expanded one where you see all the Subtasks' names.
