When a time estimate is set, and when start date and due date are set, automatically split the time estimate across the days to make a manageable daily task list, allowing the task to appear on your daily to do list and in the home calendar view so that you can place the time chunk into a specific time slot within your calendar.
For example, if a time estimate is 10 hours for a task and the start date to the due date is 5 days, then allow the workload to be spread out 2 hours per day.
usemotion.com does something similar where it will automatically set your schedule, and I
think
if there isn't enough time in the day based on your daily workload capacity, then it will move lower priority tasks to the next day/available time slot.
There would need to be a way to set certain regularly recurring tasks so that they are not impacted and accidentally moved. Same with tasks tied to meetings.
Essentially, the goal is to make it easier to automatically time chunk your daily/weekly schedule and more effectively manage your team's workload and project timelines – with all of this synced to your meeting calendar (like Google calendar).
