Sort within a status

I would like to sort within a status e.g. all open items in 2 ways: by prio/due date or alphabetically. couldnt find it

yeah it would be great to be able to sort with a status as a closed group, so that each status can have it's own sorting criteria. for example, when projects or campaigns are in planning or set up, i want them organized by start date. but if a project is live, i want it organized by end date. this would help me keep track of what needs the most attention based on start/end dates, but its not the same across the whole list

Agreed -- it'd be nice to be able to sort (and also search) within a specific status group. My company has many tasks, even when separated by project, and the "overall search" doesn't help me locate a specific task within the status, it just tells me where that task is, and I still have to scroll down and look for the one task I need to update.
Hope this feature rolls out soon!

I came to post something similar.
CY CHAN
We used the Board View extensively for Project Overview. Its difficult to find the specific one when the the tasks in the list grows. There should be a way to sort these tasks by alphabetical order WITHIN a status.
The same requirement is needed for the List view!
