Sort Subtasks differently to parent Task when expanded in List view
Guy Mannerings
It would be great if we were able to sort Subtasks differently to their parent Tasks, when the Subtasks are expanded in List view.
E.g., parent Tasks are sorted by Status, but Subtasks that are expanded underneath them are sorted by Due Date.

Sort subtasks in the main list view

When subtasks are set to "expand all" in the main view, they are not following the sorting of the tasks. That really surprised me as I expected this to be the normal behaviour! There is no way at all to sort the subtasks in the main list view other than sorting them manually!

I’d expand the request a little on this one, as there may be scenarios where you want to sort subtasks, but using a different criteria to be main tasks.
Therefore, I’d suggest we request “the ability to set subtasks sort order independently of, and in addition to, the parent task”.
Perhaps the default sort order for sub tasks can be to mirror whatever sort order has been set for the parent. This would address both needs and offer greater flexibility :-)
Great add either way :-)
