Sort / Group / Filter Rollup Fields
Ioannis Gkretsikos
I guess this is already planned?
Doesn't make much sense to have rollup fields without the ability to sort / group or filter by them.

Definitely this would be very very helpful. Without this, bulk dashboards often lose their meaning ;( you cannot use lists with relation.

Grouping by Relationship and Rollup fields

I built a crude CRM for my team using three lists: opportunities, accounts, and contacts. These each have cross-referenced field - e.g. the ability to view the sum of opportunities for a given account. It would be great if we could use these linked fields in the various views for grouping or sorting.
Similarly, the data is not usable in dashboards, which is pretty limiting in how far I can take this particular use case...

Sort Rollup Fields in Task & List View
Kolton White
When viewing related tasks and the rollup fields in the popup window of List view or within the side pane of a Task view, there is no way to sort the tasks displayed by any of the rollup fields. (see screenshots) Which is a pain because it seems random at the moment.
It would be great to have the same sort of sorting toggle ability that exists for task fields in normal list view.

This is definitely something that keeps us from moving everything from Monday to Clickup. Monday's rollup fields (called Mirrored Columns) are easier to use, more reliable, and you can group and filter tasks/items by those column values in any kind of view.

We need this urgent! Please ClickUp Team.

Agree 100%. Seems like this is getting a lot of attention in 2025. Let's hope it happens soon. Seems like this is long overdue!
Best use case for me is inventory data integrity. We have two lists, one for inventory item masters, and one for inventory items on hand. The item master list include a dropdown customer fields for item master location. I have a master location called "ISSUE OUT." I've used this master location in other systems like SAP, WinAir, Lawson, etc., to set apart inventory items that get issued out immediately but for whatever reason need to be tracked via inventory rather than as service types of expenses. On a recurring bases, I run an on-hand inventory report AND WOULD LOVE TO BE ABLE TO FILTER, OR AT LEAST GROUP RESULTS BY MASTER LOCATION to quickly identify what items to issue out (or expense).
This sort of functionality is very useful when it comes to data integrity. I don't want a bunch of garbage tasks in my on-hand inventory that should have been 'closed' or 'issued out' already. Keeps things neat and tidy. My use of ClickUp for inventory mast/on-hand/on-order tracking is getting much better over time, but it's been nearly 3 years now for me, and this one area is really lacking.
Some day. Gotta have that dream in my pocket!

agree 100%. I use relationships a lot. My use case: All items on my bid/proposal list are related to one or more customers on a customer list. When I am in the task view of a customer, I want to see all of the bids I sent to them, sorted by a custom date roll-up field.
