SMS integration

An automated replies to the new tasks created while linking our own SMS platform will allow us to manage the SMS platform as a standalone and still be able to send messages to customers on specific parameters viz., welcome message etc

Upvoting this because SMS integration would be ideal.

Trying to train my clients to send their work requests directly to clickup via email but several of them vastly prefer to text. I need to be able to forward a text message to a list in Clickup, or ideally, have the client directly text it to Clickup. That way I wouldn't drop the ball on anything ever! SimpleTexting is an added $29 per month expense I can't afford for just a few clients. Need this feature NOW!

It would be great to send sms manually from task. Now, it works only as an automation. Next, thing is to make more integrations, like with SMSapi.

To have more automations in place to communicate and remind our customers SMS integration will help us a lot.
SMS is more old fashioned BUT short text messages are taken more seriously by our costumers.

This would be great! About 30-40% of my approval comms are run through text message, and it's a PITA to have to break the "ClickUp immersion" and chain of operations to garner an approval and then pull it back in for documentation.
I also have two clients who I've pointed to ClickUp that could drastically benefit from SMS comms through ClickUp

I really need SMS included within ClickUp for effective workflow productivity. Is this on the radar for ClickUp to bring onto the platform without integrating or paying for yet another platform? I've found that this is now a requirement for my business to run smoothly and will need this included within a PM platform moving forward.

I'm looking to use my current SMS platform, it's an open API, to send and receive SMS. Essentially I would create a 'folder' within my SMS platform dedicated to 'leads' or [insert classification]. When I move those individuals to 'leads' or [insert classification], that will create a task in ClickUp and include any and all correspondence from the SMS platform. Now I can manage that lead within ClickUp, same as email. This will create a communications log in the comments. Just as we can now change between comments and email, add an option for SMS.
This will allow any team member to have a complete picture of all communications, files sent, pictures, etc; cutting out the platform back-and-forth. This will be a GAME CHANGER!!!!
Please reach out to me if what I'd like to accomplish is unclear. 🙂

We have an integration with Twilio in our automations that should allow you to do this :)
