Minimum Column Width in List View
K

Currently, I’m unable to make the first column (or any column) smaller than the system’s minimum width. This limitation makes it difficult to customize my workspace and view information efficiently. Please consider allowing users to set a smaller minimum width or remove this restriction.

Narrower column widths in List view
Gaál Melinda
In the old ClickUp, you could really shrink the columns as narrow as you wanted. However, in the new ClickUp, an unnecessarily large part is on the right side of the columns, and it is impossible to make the column narrower because of them. I've tried to get used to this situation, but it annoys me again and again and again and again that I can't see enough columns on a smaller screen just because of this limitation. Please, can the columns be set to any narrowness again.

Columns are hard to adjust and often have minimum sizes. My team is reverting to Microsoft excel!

Smaller columns in List view

Some fields are really small :
- it is the case for priority (which got a few feature suggestions already),
- but other fields, like numbers, can also have a small width in terms of content.
Yet there is a huge amount of white space that has to remain in the column : a waste of space, especially in list with a lot of columns. That is a pity
Could it be check so we could eventually make these column as narrow as possible?
In the picture : see how it takes at least 4x the space it actually need.

It is a pain point that long text fields have a
maximum
size.I want to be able to make these as big as I want to display the amount of text I want.

This seems so damn basic to amend column sizes. Yet this was raised in 2020 and 4 years later, nothing...
