Show the name of the person who archived a task

I would like to be able to see the name of the person who archived the task in the comment section inside the archived task.

Agree - this is an essential feature required in ClickUp given that all guests with edit or full permission can Archive. Not only who, but when they archived the task too.

It would be highly beneficial to have the ability to view who has archived a folder, task, list, or document. This would help assess who should have visibility, as well as ensure direct training as to the use of ClickUp.

I was surprised to find out that a task has been archived, and I can't determine who did it. Please add this essential feature!

I have a client that has requested the ability to view who has archived a Folder.

YES! I would like to be able to see WHO archived a task, list, or folder. And even better - I'd like there to be permissions settings on who is allowed to archive. Any guest/member with edit or full access can currently archive. We've had several people do it accidentally and then our team freaks out because the list/folder looks gone (until I restore it).

How are other teams currently managing archival of tasks? We recently had a user archive a number of tasks. We didn't discover it for weeks when the people who had originally requested the tasks began to ask about their completion status. Since they were archived, they didn't show up in any of our default views. And since ClickUp doesn't include the functionality to see who archived a task or when they archived a task, we have no idea when it happened or who did it. And nobody is fessing up. Additionally, I'm not aware of any way to limit people's ability to archive a task. Even a guest can do it depending on permissions. This feature is desperately needed at this point because archival, as a feature, is entirely opaque and unmanageable, and we can't turn it off.

Add delete / restore to task activity #uunw

Hi there,
I'm not actually sure if this is considered a bug, but I'll post it here. If it needs to be moved, please move it!
I'm looking at the Activity part of a task, and I'm noticing some elements of interaction with the task is missing. I would really like to be able to see who marks a task as closed (for some reason I could only see who reopens it), who deleted a task, and who restores it, for instance.
Thanks!

I just saw this report and thought I'd add this here because it seems related:
I created a tag, which shows in the activity stream. Then, I renamed the tag and that isn't reflected in activity, so it looks like only the original tag name (which no longer exists) is relevant. I've done this a couple of times now. (I suppose I should think through the name of the tag better at the beginning!)
It's not incredibly important to me and, if already addressed in 2.0, all the better. Thanks!

David Hecht: Hey there, David! Sadly, we cannot show tag renames in the task activity, as the tag can be renamed from many locations in the app. However, we are focusing on adding many more actions to the task activity soon!
David Hecht
Tarun Masani: Gotcha. Thanks.
