Hi ClickUp team,
I’d like to suggest an improvement for
List View
.
Currently, List View is great for organizing task hierarchy because I can quickly drag one task onto another and turn it into a subtask.
However, there is no way to keep the
task Description permanently visible
in List View. The description is only available on hover or after opening the task.
My ideal workflow would be:
* Use
List View
* See the actual task
Description directly under the task name or as a visible column
* Keep the ability to
drag and drop tasks onto other tasks to make them subtasks
Board View can display task descriptions directly on cards, but it does not provide the same fast drag-and-drop hierarchy management as List View.
So the feature request is:
Please add an option to display the standard Task Description directly in List View — either below the task title or as a separate column.
This would make List View much more useful for users who need to understand the context of many tasks at a glance while quickly reorganizing their hierarchy.
