Show favorite projects as horizontal menu bar

The issue here is that clicking the little star to make the favorites show up, is cumbersome. Sometimes I need a favorite project, sometimes not. I keep on klicking the small star while it would be much easier to have the favorites in sight constantly just as any browser favorites are visible. No in between clicks needed.

Apart from that, it would be helpful to make favorites 'sticky' so that they are always visible and don't disappear when there are a lot of favorites
