Shortcut for inserting current date/time into note

It would be great if when typing notes you could use a shortcut for entering the current date and time (e.g. "5 Dec 2019 6:19am"). I use this a lot in OneNote as I keep a lot of meeting notes and I usually keep one note page per month or week. For example:
5 Dec 2019 6:19am Meeting 1
* Note
* Note
* Task
6 Dec 2019 6:19am Another Meeting
* Note
* Note
* Task
You could have /dl for 'date long' format e.g. 6 Dec 2019 6:19am and /ds for 'date short' format e.g. 6 Dec 2019.

I would love to see Control+; to insert the date as we use on Excel and Google Sheets. I type the date into the notes almost every day. Thanks!!
