Hi Brendan W there is an issue with the implemented functionality when Private locations that are shared with a Team (in our case a Space). Tasks assigned to specific users from the Team are not appearing as expected in the "My Work" portion of Home unless that location is additionally shared individually with users from that team. This defeats the purpose of having Teams to manage permissions.

Somewhat inversely, it would be very helpful if subtasks could be shared with a Guest without granting them access to a parent task. When managing requests with vendors (or even clients who want to communicate or see progress without emailing), we prefer to set up a subtask to provide them with visibility of relevant information without giving them visibility to any internal back and forth, details, etc. that are captured in the parent task.

I second (or is it third, fourth...) Alexandre Lanoue's comment that for any company working with partners or clients in your clickup, team-sharing at the space level is in order to control access effectively. This feature was advertised as already on our enterprise plan when we signed up, so I'd really appreciate a timeline on when it will actually work. Right now I have 22 people in my company and 27 spaces. I can't make 594 permissions edits to secure these spaces and their contents from our partners and clients (and we can't simply invite them in as guests as that has its own problems). To make matter worse, the API doesn't allow me to manage permissions on the Space so I can't add the users in by automation either. This is a glaring omission.

Not being able to use Teams to share spaces is clearly a missing feature. We are a multi-clients organization and we use spaces as "client folder". Not being able to share the spaces using teams makes it complex to manage permissions and comply to a "least access policy".

When could we see that feature being deployed?

Sharing a folder to a team that already has access put it in the shared with me section. It would be nice if this didn't happen. Assuming its happening because you can't share a space to a team.

It'd also be nice to be able to assign a task to a team and the time estimates for individual assignees w/in that team would also be accounted for for that individual assignee's time estimates. Example: We use a task to assign holiday time off for our entire team. It'd be nice to create a task w/ 8h of time, assign it to the team, and then each person w/in that team would also have that time estimate reflected when looking at time by assignee.
