Set priority and start dates via emailing in tasks

Adding this in case anyone finds it helpful. Although not a perfect workaround, you can set up automation that automatically assigns a set priority to any task that is created via email. See the attached screenshot. I would still like this feature though so that different priorities could be assigned!

yes, add this feature missing this for a long time

This is very important, many us use Priority to sort tasks due the same day, etc. Emailed tasks get lost very easily

Jumping in to reiterate that to be able to set priority when emailing tasks is a must! I occasionally use the email task forwarding feature, but it still requires the extra step of going back in to ClickUp and refreshing the list until it shows up in order to add priority. Otherwise it's possible I will miss the task as I sort my "Assigned to me" page on the homepage by priority. If I forward a normal or High priority task to my clickup I need to be sure I'll see it.
Therefore I only really use this feature when I'm forwarding an email with a lot of text content, otherwise it's easier just to create the task directly in clickup.

this is a must!

This would be EXTREMELY helpful to have start date as a variable.

can we please get the ability to add priority by email please? a lot of people sort tasks by Priority and the feature has already been added for other attributes (e.g. assign, due date), so hopefully should be pretty easy.

What's the status here? It is pretty important for us to be able to add start dates via email.

Please add a tag to assign a priority to an emailed task. I manage tasks by due date and priority. When I forward an email to a task list, I only want to touch it once so it doesn't fall through the cracks. If can assign a priority with <priority high> when sending, then I don't have to go find all of the emails I forwarded and update the priority in clickup. If a task doesn't have a due date or a priority, it falls into "other" tasks and I don't want to spend time on those. It's not a problem if I never do them. They are there for reference accessed by search.
