There is no information about who read the message in the chat or who entered the task, that is, in theory, got acquainted with its contents. I mean information, as it happens in Whatsapp or Messanger, where the icons of the users are displayed.

Very important to our team. I see this has been requested for 5 years! As a manager who is just beginning onboarding our team to ClickUp, this is quite discouraging. (First message in this thread is Dec. 2019!) Read-receipts have been standard in messaging for much longer than that!
Please focus on core functionality and do not fall into the trap of putting all emphasis on AI development.

We are requesting the implementation of Read Receipts in the ClickUp Chat channels (both direct messages and group channels).
This feature is crucial for effective team communication and workflow visibility for the following reasons:
Accountability and Confirmation: When sending important or time-sensitive messages to a team channel, it is often critical to know that the team members have actually seen the communication. Without read receipts, we are left wondering who has received the information and who hasn't.
Reduces Unnecessary Follow-ups: Currently, the lack of confirmation leads to time-consuming, unnecessary follow-up messages just to ask, "Did you see my message?" Read receipts would eliminate this friction and allow the team to focus on the work itself.
Improved Team Trust and Clarity: Knowing when a message was read and by whom (a list of users who have read the message) provides clear visibility and ensures everyone is on the same page regarding important announcements, updates, or decisions.
Suggestion:
We propose a simple visual indicator (like a double checkmark or a "Seen by" link) that shows:
The time the message was read.
A list of team members in the channel who have read the message.
This is a standard feature in many modern communication platforms (Slack, Teams, etc.) and its addition would significantly enhance the usability of ClickUp Chat as a reliable communication hub for our team.

Would love if CU Chat had a way to see who has seen a message already and who hasn't.
For businesses like ours that are distributed and complete work at different hours, read receipts are massively helpful in knowing when/when not to follow up (and not having them was probably the most frustrating thing about using slack)
I'd be okay if this were a ClickApp and were toggleable at the company level. A model to look at could be WhatsApp.

Hell, chat is useless because of missing read receipts.... you can wait hours/days without knowing... its terrible..
