See Recurring Tasks in Gantt View

It would be extremely helpful to see recurring tasks in Gantt view eg. a single task line for a weekly project team meeting that happens every Monday over the project life, so it appears as a time block on the Gantt view on every Monday.
To show those commitments at the moment I have to create a “Weekly Meeting” task with a separate subtask for each week's meeting.
It’s incredibly time consuming to create & mange it this way, which goes against the whole point of using this kind of solution.
I've been working as a CFO for 10+ years, and running major projects in mid size & large companies for 20+ years, and I can speak from experience that this functionality would be immensely useful & would really set your solution ahead of the pack.

4.5 years after the original post, how is this still not a thing? If we set a task to recur, we should be able to see those recurrences on the Gantt chart. Crazy.

As a Finance Team which has a lot of recurring tasks (once a month, twice a month, once a week or even once a day) we need to be able to see how the whole month is going to be. Its very important for us!

Yes, I fully agree. When we set up recurring meetings each one should show not only in the GANTT chart. I would like to see it in the Calendar and List view also.
