Brendan W: You still can't really search within the Docs themselves from the Docs home.
For example, if I want to see all docs with the words "social media" in them, I can search the Docs page for that and it will tell me how many instances there are. But if it is in 4 docs, I can't see which ones unless the search term is either in the title or happens to be in the small section of text that is visible in the cards view.

We use Clickup docs as a wiki for documentation we usually kept in GitHub. The search functionality is one of the limitations however.

I was asked to give my use case here for Ctrl + F, but honestly I use Ctrl + F in every Google doc, Word doc, Excel, website, everywhere. It makes docs really impractical for me...finding minutes from meetings etc

+1 to this. In the Web App I can search using my browsers CTRL+F functionality, however the desktop app has no comparable feature. This means I have to open the web app in my browser to search a document. Slows me down quite a bit.

Yes, please let us search the documents in Clickup, we use it for training material which should be searchable for the term you want to look up! Thanks :)

I agree. I need to be able to Find words/phrases on the screen while in a document. Most apps have the functionally to Find text using ctrl-f for Windows (or cmd-f on Mac) or even one of the Function keys like (F3 or F4, etc.). This functionally works when you view the documents using ClickUp in the browser, but not in the ClickUp app. Please consider adding this functionality to the ClickUp app. Thanks!
