Save Preset Filters (e.g., Assigned to Me) in Timesheet Task Selection
Renato Ribeiro
In the Timesheet “Add Task” workflow, the system currently displays all tasks from all Spaces and Projects, without any filtering. This makes it difficult for users to quickly find relevant tasks, especially in workspaces with large numbers of active, closed, or historical tasks.
We request the ability to apply and save preset filters for the task selection list in Timesheets. Examples of useful presets include:
- Assigned to Me
- Status: Open or New
- Specific Spaces or Projects
Enabling saved filters would:
- Reduce clutter by removing outdated or irrelevant tasks
- Improve accuracy by surfacing only tasks relevant to the user
- Save time when logging hours, especially for teams with complex environments
This enhancement would greatly streamline the timesheet process and reduce friction for end users.

100% support this request and would upvote it many times if I could. Love having the timesheet function in place but this improvement request really is quite critical to making it robust for users and drive positive UX. It is hard enough to get staff to fill timesheets on a normal, good day but seemingly small and relatively easy improvements like this can make all the difference to keep the process tight and smooth for staff so that they don't have another reason to gloss over the necessary admin.
Moreover, timesheet entry needs to be relevant and contained to a users assigned task list or those within their direct permission set as well as making for an efficient user experience. Having the filters reset and default to all task without the ability to preserve or lock these filters for users is quite a major concern for time sheeting. Not only does it greatly slow the process of time entry and cause unnecessary steps for users but it can cause real issues for team members and managers. It increases the potential for incorrect tasks to be unwittingly selected (particularly where different users may have a similarly named task which is individually tracked) which can flow through to incorrect billing of customers. Also increases potential for data leak security concerns between different user groups and teams.
