Zeb: seems not work in task view
Minnie Nguyen
Zeb: Hi, I tried activating this and it doesn't seem to work. The "roll up" column is there but no data, it keeps showing 0m despite having hours logged under tasks and subtasks

Hey Minnie Nguyen! We've a delay issue that we're working on fixing but it must work on "refresh". Can you try refreshing the page and confirm if you're still getting 0? Also it would be great if you can share a screnshot of how you set up the rollup, thanks!
Minnie Nguyen
Waleed Elaghil: I've actually done more than refreshing to try and troubleshoot the problem. Beyond refreshing, I've closed and re-open Click-up, I've de-activated Click apps and re-activated, I've tried to turn on the Roll-up in different spaces. Nothing seems to work. Screenshot attached.

Hey Minnie Nguyen! I've tried to replicate it from my side and it's working fine. Can you please try clearing your browser's cache and try again.
If it's still not working, please shoot us an email at help@clickup.com and we'll solve this for you 🙂
Minnie Nguyen
Waleed Elaghil: How do I do that? I'm using the desktop app....?
Waleed Elaghil
Minnie Nguyen: Can you check if you have the latest update? (refer to pic) If you have the latest update and you're still facing this issue, then please send us an email at help@clickup.com!

As someone else mentioned, this should probably also be the case for ESTIMATED TIME as well as TRACKED TIME. So if you wanted to build an estimate for a job/project based on the tasks it takes then you automatically have a total number of hours, etc. Time tracking is more critical.

Hello, we think this is a really important feature. Please any update on this task would be helpful.

How about just being able to log time to a comment and have that sum up to total task time.
currently using "List" as a tasks/ticket and "Task" as a time entry.

This will be a most helpful tool once implemented. Thank you for adding it to the queue. We are loving ClickUp so far! Keep up the great work. On pins and needles for this feature to be added!

Hi, is this coming any time soon? I can see some old posts suggesting it was due to release end of 2018?

I am a new user and I just discovered that the amount of time shown as tracked through Harvest in a Task does not include time from subtasks. This is a big miss, as noted by others below. I need to track cumulative time on a matter (that's how we bill our clients). Currently, it seems the only way to get this is to track all time through the task rather than any subtasks.
Based on the responses below, it looks like this feature is overdue.

We are waiting impatiant to see the time tracked on subtask summerized in the mother-task and would appreciate that feature a lot!
