You should be able to assign time — either through a time estimate or a custom field — directly to a custom field so you can plan upcoming work on that specific machine. For example, our 3D printers can only run for three hours per day. Allocating time against the machine itself in the workload setup, rather than against a user, would make scheduling far more accurate and useful for us.
