Reorder tasks within their priority
Josh Newland
If I have my list view sorted by Priority and due date, and I have 5 high priority tasks due today, I still have an order I'd like to attack them in. I'd like to be able to re-order tasks within that high priority section that's due today to reflect the order in which I'm going to tackle them.
More of an OCD thing.. but hey, ToDoist lets you do it ;)

Preserve the order in which tasks on a list are displayed for all users, so that the highest priority can be placed at the top, and so on. Widely used in Agile Scrum and Kanban methodologies.

This is our biggest pain point using ClickUp and seeing it's been sitting here for over 5 years doesn't fill me with confidence about it ever changing.

We've been waiting 5 years for this request (essentially a small fix) to be greenlighted. When is this going to happen?

DEFINITELY! Much needed.
I essentially have no control over the order of the tasks appearing in a certain status, when sorting by priority.
Let's say in status "Doing today" I have 10 items, 5 of them are High Priority - how do I then order them by which one I'm doing 1st, 2nd, etc?

Hit this too, want to maintain the order of say 5 high priority tasks across ClickUp views grouped by different fields.

This would be extremely helpful when tasks are grouped by "None". The tasks even have a handle to drag and drop them, but it doesn't work to reorder tasks. Please allow us to manually order tasks, and save this preference the next time the list is opened.

yes please!!! I really miss this about todoist, I used to view my tasks by priority, then move them around from there, as I would often have 10-20 tasks in each priority

+1 sort by high priority to low

Allow us to reorder tasks after sorting by Priority on Board View

Please allow us to to reorder tasks that have no priority.
After filtering for priority many of my tasks that have no priority are in an odd order. For example it's putting tasks that are blocking other tasks below the tasks that are dependent on it.

Rearrange the sort order
Geoff Ball
When sorting, ClickUp sorts in the order that items are clicked in the title bar. For example, in the attached screenshot, I clicked the Due Date header first, then Priority, then Assignees. It would be nice to be able to drag these around to rearrange the order that tasks are sorted.
