Reorder or swap custom field positions in Tasks
Kim Hoang
I have created many custom fields.
It would be great if we can rearrange the custom fields so it will display as we wanted to in the task
As you can see in bullet 1, 2, and 3, I have arranged the fields in order
- Approval
- Complete
- Status.
But right now, all those fields don't display as order as I wanted, you can see Bullet A, B, and C so you know what I mean

Created custom fields should be editable after a while as per necessity. Up and down their position. That's reorder or rearrange.

Allow the ability to reorder the Created Fields within tasks. This is painful when new fields are added and don't create a flow that works with a current / new process.

Allowing users to reorder custom fields after creation would greatly improve flexibility and usability, letting them adjust the layout as needs change and prioritize the most important information. Being able to move fields up or down ensures forms and data entry remain organized and efficient, adapting to evolving workflows. For instance, just as https://truecallarapk.com provides an intuitive interface for managing and accessing apps, enabling custom field reordering offers a seamless experience for users to customize their system to match their specific requirements.

Reordering Custom Fields in Tasks

Currently, it is not possible to manually reorder custom fields within a task or card. This limitation makes it challenging to organize fields in a way that best suits our workflow. It would be highly beneficial to have the ability to drag and drop custom fields to rearrange them as needed.

Reordering custom fields is a vital feature for improving user experience and content management. Users should be able to easily edit and reposition fields—moving them up or down as needed—based on changing priorities or structure. This flexibility is especially useful for content-rich websites like this Pizzaville menu page (https://canadamenuswithprices.com/pizzaville-menu-with-prices-in-canada/), where presenting items in a logical or updated order can greatly enhance readability and user engagement.

yes, i need the ability to reorder custom field on the task detail page. I can do it in the List View... but not the task details. So frustrating.

It would be very helpful to be able to reorder the custom fields! We use that section as our "cover page" for our transactions. It is a great overview but the information is scatted and would love to be able to read from top to bottom necessary information within it's timeline/stage. I have pinned important items but I still have to search for key items.
