Remove the limitation of 100 uses of custom fields
not on the roadmap

For me this comes out of the blue, and I expected Clickup as I read somewhere to have a business model that earns on the storage feature, not by capping essential features.
The whole reason why I like Clickup is that it gives uses the ability to really move their life and work into the platform, like Google has done because it provides the basics.
The probblem with custom fields, is that an organization or team will always create custom fields and therefore users will always go beyond 100 uses.
The whole promise and idea of unlimited users and projects makes absolutely no sense if there is a limitation in the structure of the projects, that is, the customn fields of tasks.
The result is, that I will never recommend anyone any more to use Clickup because one will be forced to to upgrade, or one has to leave the team if the team uses custom fields.
Custom fields are the most fundamental workings of the platform and therefore in my view should be part of the free accounts, otherwise promising unlimited users and projects makes no sense.

Previously, I loved and enjoyed using Clickup very much every day. But I have the same issue with custom field limit. I understand that it is a business reason for paid version. But Notion has unlimited uses for custom field. So, now I have moved on to Notion. I recommend that you change to Notion too. BYE BYE CLICK UP.

My plan was to use Clickup for a large international collaborative network that I am currently initiating. This however requires that the structural features of items including their custom field need to be in the free plan, because of a large 'outer circle' project user which will need to interact with the inner circle team, but that will not be possible if they are at some point forced to upgrade or leave the project.

Yuri: Hey Yuri! I hear you, but the reality is that we are the only project management app that even gives you access to use them for free, briefly. Custom fields are globally a paid feature but we want users to see the value out of them which is why we do allow limited use. At the end of the day, we have to make money in order to stay open, and our product has a vast amount of more free features than any other project management app. We are happy to work with you on pricing for something that fits within your budget, but this is not something we can change.
