I want three tasks to be due the week before the project. 10 tasks are due a month before. 12 tasks are due 2 months before, etc. etc. All based on the completion date of the project...not the start date.
Every project has a different length depending on when they start and need to end, but they ALL have things that need to be completed at certain times.
It doesn't really matter to me when I start, some weddings we plan in 6 months some in 16 months. But they all have certain milestones we need to hit (invites at 10 weeks), things like that. All based on when the actual project "due date" aka wedding date is

I am quite confused with this remapping tool and how it helps. The way we would need it to work is as Wes Brummette mentioned to have the milestones trigger based off the end date. I think most of us in our industry understand in some instances due to lead time of event we might manually have to change some dates but if most can follow this trigger it would be so helpful. I am not finding this remapping helpful yet. :(

Remapping feature is not working. It correctly assumes the end date of my campaign when i input the start date however NONE of the due dates are in the folder when it is created. Why have a due date remapping feature that doesn't actually remap due dates ? I created 6 folders from template using the remap from start date feature -- none of the folders created from the template have due dates on a single one of the 265 tasks. The folder that i created the original template has every single start date and end date entered. The template was created from a folder that had every single start and end date entered. Why did my new folders created from template have a single due date entered?

Hey Everyone! We are working on our template Remapping feature. There will be an option to map based on start date, and an option to map based on end date.
This is looking at the last date in the template and working backwards from there :)

Yes! i really need this. it takes so much time to add due dates to the hundreds of tasks we have. If we can create the milestones in the templates and once we enter due date it trigger the right date that would be amazing. Also in the wedding business as many others requesting the same tool

Remapping dates based on an anchor task's date would be helpful, too. I have templates with an event task nested between tasks. The event task date controls most of the other task's dates.
