Relationships Status

Very important feature. To be able to have a status on the relationship itself. Let’s say i sell a property - or anything else - and have that property in ClickUp as a “task”, i have a “status” on that “task”. But I’ve attached few potential customers, as “relationships” to this property, and each customer is a “task” on its own, with their own “status”. But now it’s very important that i have a separate “status” which tells me where I’m up to regarding that particular “relationship” between this property and that buyer, without affecting the “status” of the property or buyer itself.
I think this feature would be a deal breaker for many many salespeople. Because the item/service they selling is in “for sale” status, the customer is in “active customer” status, but the “relationship Status” between the 2 keeps on changing. From “potential buyer” to “have to follow” to “closed” or “unsuccessful”… but in the same time the item/service didn’t change its status as being “available” and the customer is still an active customer for other items/services.
Without that relationship status it’s vary hard to keep track in ClickUp on customer.

This post is already from a long time ago... But I really wish there would be a ability to make an automation that says, If status of a task changes, than change the status of a related task too, and a possibility to also do this the other way around.
Like this for example:
Trigger: Task or subtask status
'Custom relationship field STATUS changes'
Field*
%select related field in dropdown%
from
%status%
to
%status%
Action: Change status
Status*
%select a status%
Or make it possible to get a rollup field with status in the automations, so you can make it work like this:
Trigger: Task or subtask status
'Rollup field changes'
Field*
Dropdown list: %select a rollup field %
(select a field that shows a related task status)
from
%any%
to
%any%
Action: Change status
Status*
%select a status%
I think the second option is the easiest to realize and give the most new automation flexibility because you can also let related tasks automatically change the status of a task with a lot more conditions by using rollup fields.
