Refresh Button
Jason Murdoch
When changing statuses or otherwise making changes, it doesn't always show the change right away. Usually I have to refresh the page for it to show my changes. It would be awesome to have a refresh button in the task view so I don't have to completely refresh the whole page, which takes longer.

i have no idea why this isnt a thing yet. This has been an issue for so long. I have automations that create subtasks however not all those subtasks actually show up under the tasks. I either need to do a full refresh, or in the case i'm using the app, i need to quit the app then reopen it since there isnt a refresh button. This issue has seemed to occur more frequently for me and is rather annoying.

I’ve noticed the same delay before updates appear, and a refresh button in the task view would really streamline the workflow without reloading everything. Small UX improvements like this make a big difference, similar to how clear steps matter in processes like pet shipping to germany https://pearllemonpets.com/services/usa-to-germany-dog-transport/

Has a refresh button been added to the app yet? There are times it does not reflect things correctly across my team and we are forced to log out completely and back in to see the update. We are using on desktop not mobile.

Is there any update on this topic?
This is a really big and annoying issue for many years. At least for me and my team. It sometimes leads to mistakes and misunderstandings. And it's the only reason why I can't recommend clickup to other people. And actually I don't want a refresh button, it should happen automatically.
Other platforms have long been able to do this.

Major need for this. Affects UX a ton.

Slow/nonexistent refreshing is a basic issue that plagues many users' experience with Clickup. When you create items from templates, they don't populate till manually refreshing (Cmd + R). Same with automations and particularly when working as a team on the same list. Slow or no-updating leads to confusion and inefficiency.
Requests boil down to: A refresh button (though Cmd+R shortcut does this). But really, lack of efficient autorefresh of all views is the underlying issue.
Here are a number of other requests related to refreshing:

This would be handy, Views refreshing is intermittent at best in web and desktop. definitely fails to refresh view if an automation runs as well. It would be handy if you could choose to refresh views after automation runs within the automation itself.

I understand the app tries to be current, but that's not always the case. I would love a refresh button on the Everything/List view as that's where I primarily work from.
