Reduce frequency of app update notifications
Mark Bennett
When an Mac desktop app update becomes available, users are prompted to install it every 10 minutes. This is a ridiculously high frequency, especially as our users have managed devices with no local admin rights, so are unable to install the update when prompted, and have to wait for the update to be automatically pushed to them. Although this happens pretty quickly (within a few hours of your update becoming available), the very high frequency of your update notifications is really annoying to the users. I appreciate the importance of installing updates, but I've never seen any other app be this insistent and intrusive about installing them.
