Recurring tasks reopen regardless of status

From support ticket: I use Legacy recurring tasks because I need a task to reopen on a schedule even when not closed, but then future recurring tasks don't show in Calendar view. Adding the option to recur regardless of status would solve the issue!

Raise your hand if you've forgotten to change the status of a Recurring Task 🙋...
Previously, Recurring Tasks would only update if the task was manually set to a Done or Closed status. If you forgot to update the status, then that task wouldn't recur.
Now, you have the option to select On schedule in the recurring settings and your task will automatically recur whether or not the status changes!

Yes I also need this feature. I need recurring tasks to reopen or re create a duplicate even if it hasn't been closed. This is a MAJOR feature that I will use in my business on at least 30 different processes for my staff and guests. How far is this out from launch?
