Rate closed / done tasks lower in search results and add a filter to include / exclude closed

When using ClickUp a lot and perhaps even migrating from a different system with > 15.000 tasks, closed tasks more and more fill up the search results in Search (s) and other searches (like add dependencies, ...) when using keyword search!
- Please consistently rate Done / Closed tasks lower than active in search results.
- Add a checkbox filter to include or exclude (what makes more sense for you) closed / done tasks from the search results. The filter state should be saved for the user for the next search.
- Same for "Archived". :)

I don't think this request is complete. It is asking if the default search sort can rank closed tasks lower in the results. Right now it usually shows closed and archived first where we have to scroll and search for the active tasks, or we have to click off the filters every single time we use the search. The request is for the default search to not show closed or archived as the default, and if not, then can the default search at least lower sort for closed/archived. Is this request not possible?

Search uses a variety of signals to rank results, and the suggestions in this post have largely been implemented.
Keep in mind that while we rank archived and closed tasks lower, we have other signals (such as personalization) in play too. On balance, it should work as expected.
Additionally, we have explicit controls for filtering "archived" as well as "Active" & "Closed" tasks.

Please remove closed tasks from the default search, let us toggle them on. This especially includes time tracking, why show closed tasks first when trying to search for a task to track time on?!?!
or at least remove archived from the searches unless toggled on to see them.

I'd agree with this for sure. Having the ability to filter out Closed tasks. I can see the need to be able to search for closed tasks, but when you have 1000's of tasks, the need to only find active tasks is very high for our organization and something nearly all of my users have talked to me about as something that they would like Clickup to do.ability
