quick time entry fields

I'd recommend updating your time entry component to allow for typing a 4 digit number as military time, without needing to add punctuation, i.e. 1400 = 14:00 = 2:00PM

Thanks! So glad to see this implemented.
It works as expected for me. You don't have to pick from a list, just type it in and press enter e.g. 921 [enter] resolves to 9:21

Unfortunately this functionality has been trashed by the latest changes to due dates and times probably due to the new recurring functionality. Now instead of a shorthand time entry, you have to deal with a time pick list. This is not an improvement from my viewpoint and makes time entry less efficient.
My process is to chose a date from the calendar and then enter the time. But when you do it that way, you get the time pick list and not the shorthand field to enter time.
A backwards step in my opinion.

Nate: Please see the comment I have added to this topic. I don't think it quite works the way discussed here. You can't use a shorthand time if you select the date first which is what I typically do. Instead you are forced to use the time picklist unless I am missing something.

Yes, as long as it doesn't actually change it to 2:00PM! Having to type the colon has been super annoying, but I do want to keep it displayed in military time.
