Quick copy formula value
not on the roadmap
Henrik Hjort
I use a formula to calculate the due date based on a set duration. But I find it anoying, that I cannot copy the date quickly. If I click it, I in stead get to edit for formula.
Couldn't we automatically copy the value if we click the field. Or at least just have the value there as text.
I would think that in most usecases the formual is writtten once, and then its very rearly edited.

Copy value of formula field result
S
Salah Boukadoum
You can't copy the value of a formula field - there's no copy pop-up like other fields, and you can't even manually select the result - that opens the editor. That makes any non-trivial result useless, you have to read and type the result into your use case. For example, a calculated URL in a formula field is useless.
While you are at it, please make an option to make the result of a custom field be clickable as a URL.

WHY is there a copy button for text, URL, and other fields... but NOT for formula fields?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Same here. I use the values from the formula column to paste into an external report that I have to prepare elsewhere. This would be very helpful.
