Print Embedded Lists in Docs
Sam
Embedded lists view perfectly when shared as a webpage, but when you try to print or save a doc to PDF, the list becomes illegible.
It's brilliant that the lists are dynamic in docs, but we need to record a doc (as a pdf) as it exists at one time or another (static).

Absolute must have this and confused why it specifically blocks it from being printed to begin with. We need to be able to export "report" of sorts of all of our main items and milestones without having to export each list individually and format it in an external app. That would make docs actually useful and save the time Click Up claims to save.
If anyone has a work around, I'd love to hear about it!

There isn't one Meg Brown. I've tried. It's patently absurd, and I'll go ahead and apologize to all the voters of this thread for having the horrible idea to have a similar request merged into https://clickup.canny.io/feature-requests/p/invoices. I think it had a couple hundred votes when it got merged, so we need to get this one headed in that direction faster.
The major problem with this request still remains that there isn't any https://clickup.canny.io/feature-requests/p/exporting-docs-formatting
https://clickup.canny.io/feature-requests/p/richer-formatting-and-layout-design-for-docs-and-related
I'm about to ask in those threads also, but before I request and screw something up again, does anyone have an issue with merging those together?

✅ Need this. This is also a great stop gap for being able to use information in click-up when offline. For example when working on a remote video shoot location that has no service.

This is needed to be able to send estimates to our customers. We can create the line items for an estimate along with the cost calculation using a list view, but we need to add that to a document with other context to share it with the customer.
Current (pitiful) workaround is to take a screenshot of the list view and embed that rather than the actual view URL.

Benjamin Porter if you haven't already, vote for https://clickup.canny.io/feature-requests/p/invoices

Agreed - really helpful for communicating to higher up leads, or outside organizations that aren't on the Clickup app.

This would be a great feature as we could output timetables to send to clients

This would be a great feature. The ability to be able to present a clean document rather than an excel would be great. A lot of businesses use Powerpoint for example, something similar to present an exported pdf with the embedded gannt, list, timeline etc would be a brilliant feature.

+1 on this. Its useful to keep a static pdf in the file as a record, sometimes we have to look back to see how far we have come!
