We heavily use ClickUp as a custom tool not just for tasks.

E.g. We use it to create accounts, holidays, and other non-task objects.

If for example, we have Clickup items such as:

* Account

* Lead

* Holiday

* Customer

It would be great if admins or members could disable time tracking for such task types.

Use Case 1: e.g. milestones and tasks.

We might want to track time on the task level but not inadvertently log hours on milestones.

Use Case 2: Deliverables and Tasks

Let's say we have deliverables and under them, we have tasks/activities.

We don't want members to inadvertently log hours on the deliverable level but rather log hours on the tasks/activities only.
