After the mobile app update on June 18, 2026, location-based Channels (linked to a Space, Folder, or List) lost two features on mobile:

Posts tab — completely absent, no way to create or view Posts

Unread message indicator (balloon icon) — previously, opening a Channel would immediately show unread messages highlighted/filtered, making it easy to catch up on new messages. This icon/indicator is now gone.

Both features still work in standalone Channels. Both worked in location-based Channels before the June 18 update.

Steps to reproduce:

Open any Channel linked to a Folder or List on the mobile app (Android)

Notice: no "Posts" tab, and no unread message balloon/indicator

Create a standalone Channel and confirm both features appear there

Expected behavior:

Posts tab visible in all Channels

Unread message indicator/balloon visible when entering a Channel with new messages, allowing quick filtering of unread content

This is a regression that significantly impacts team communication, as users can no longer quickly identify new messages in location-based Channels on mobile.
