Possibility of Changing Currency System
Marco Starling
I would like to know if at some point ClickUp will consider adopting the possibility of changing the currency system.
For us Brazilians, using the American System is discouraging and confusing. For example :
One thousand dollars and one cent = US$1,000.01
One thousand reais and one cent = R$ 1.000,01
As you can see, there is an inversion with the use of the period and comma and this creates a lot of confusion in the Team.

Hello, Ivan Villa, Zeb Caroline Ginty
If you search the feedback section for situations like this, you'll find many similar requests. This would greatly help users, as it's a major regionalization issue in ClickUp.
I believe that when it comes to localization, date and currency formatting is one of the most important aspects—probably the first or second most requested improvement.
Here are some key improvements that would be extremely useful:
Currency Formatting
Choose the currency symbol format: US$, $, USD, etc.
Adjust the position of the currency symbol:
1,000 USD
USD 1,000
$1,000
Configure decimal places:
1,000
1,000.00
1,000.000
Customize thousand and decimal separators:
1.000,00
1,000.00
1,000,00
Date Formatting
Customize date formats:
01/14/2025, 14/01/2025, 14/01/25, 01/14/25
01-14-2025, 14-01-2025, 14-01-25, 01-14-25
Choose between full and abbreviated date display:
Full: "14 JANUARY 2025", "JANUARY 14 2025", "14 JANUARY 25"
Abbreviated: "14 JAN 2025", "JAN 14 2025", "14 JAN 25"
A smart adjustment where the short format is displayed when the column width is tight, and the full format appears when expanded, would be a great solution.
Ensure that ClickUp follows the configured format.
Currently, even when setting dd/mm/yyyy, ClickUp still only shows dd/mm/yy in some cases.
Show full date on hover.
When a date is displayed as "Today," "Tomorrow," "Yesterday," "Monday," etc., hovering over it should reveal the full formatted date.
Workspace vs. Personal Settings
These settings should be workspace-wide, ensuring consistency across all users.
However, individual users should be able to override them with their personal preferences (language, dates, currencies, etc.).
By default, a user’s settings could follow the workspace configuration, but they should have the option to customize it.
This might not be widely discussed if most users are American, but for those who use non-US formats, these are among the most important feature requests in this category.
Would love to hear if there are any plans to implement this!
