Zach Noticed with the eraser in the new whiteboards - if you use the pen tool over another object (in my case, a sticky note), and try to erase the pen lines, it will also erase the sticky note below.
The eraser needs to act on individual items - so rather than erasing all items below it, it should do one at a time and require a second click to erase the next item.

Without this option no sketching is possible really

An eraser to take out portions of a drawing would be great, in addition to the ctrl highlight to delete all.
